Mother’s Day Pop Up with Madewell

5.10.2018

This Sunday, May 13th, I’ll be celebrating Mother’s Day with my friends at Madewell with a pop up shopping event in their San Francisco store. Come by to see new necklaces and earrings, ceramic knots and incense holders, and grab some tasty snacks and sips.

I’m pretty thrilled to be working with Madewell. It’s a test of personal willpower for me to walk in front of one of their stores and not go in, much less get out without buying one of everything. No joke, their jeans are my all-time favorites. They just fit so much better than any others I’ve tried. AND you get $20 off a new pair if you bring in a pair to recycle (Madewell turns them into housing insulation for communities in need). Plus, their perfectly fitted, not-boring neutrals are an A+ pairing with my jewelry.

While she won’t be there in person :’(, this Mother’s Day I’ll be thinking about how grateful I am for my mother. She was one of the first people to encourage me to make my jewelry into a business, and she’s always ready with advice when I need it. Her pride in me and my work gives me the confidence to keep at it and trust my instincts when it comes to creative design. I’m lucky to have her.

If you’re hanging with your mom or just shopping solo, come by Madewell this Sunday. I’d love to see you! RSVP here to get an event reminder.
