May Shop Update

5.30.2017

Last week I added about 20 new items to my Etsy shop. Woo! There are now about 40 items listed, including ceramic and polymer clay earrings, necklaces, and just a couple of the small ceramic incense holders left (more coming soon!).

It might not look like a lot, but it took me many hours and a few clicks of "yes, I'm still watching" on Netflix to get that update out the door. I always underestimate how long it will take to draft up all the individual listings for each piece. But the process from idea to creation, then photographing, listing on Etsy, and updating my site, is one I really enjoy. It's not work if you love it, right?

This batch includes a few smaller earrings after getting some very helpful feedback from my friends and customers that larger earrings don't always fit smaller earlobes. I'm learning a lot more than I expected to about human ears. I also took photos of each earring on myself to show scale, which was another challenge with my previous photos.

A test I did of a folded bib necklace seemed to be a hit, so I created a couple more of those and experimented with different glaze styles like dipping and splatters.

These are some of my favorite photos of the new items up in the Moonwalker Things shop. Check 'em out, and let me know what you think!
